You have probably heard of “tapping” or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as a tool to support you in releasing struggle and frustration in your life, but have you tried it?
Have you considered using this tool as a way to support you in designing the body of your dreams on purpose and not by default?
You KNOW I am a huge advocate for living inspired in a body that purrs with vitality, strength and appreciation. You KNOW that I love using the tools of yoga and fitness to unlock our bodies greatest potentials and energies. And because you follow me in social media such as FB or IG, or because you receive my weekly newsletters, you KNOW that I have overcome plenty of struggle with my body over the last 20 plus years.
And just like you, I do still occasionally experience challenges and frustrations with my body (because of my thoughts). But, unlike what I use to do with those struggles in the past, I now (most of the time) take those challenges as a cue to tune in instead of go down a dark rabbit hole of self-loathing and self-abuse.
Now, when I feel and hear myself being less than loving to my body, I take that as a cue to check in, to get real, to listen, and to love. And what I can tell you is that it brings insight and freedom EVERY TIME.
Today I am sharing a technique, a tool, that resonates with me as yet another way to bless my body with love, truth, light and acceptance.
